What does the Wareham photography club get up to in Dorset?

If you live in or around the area of Wareham and are attracted to taking photos then you should come down to the Wareham photography club.

At the Wareham photography club we will talk and talk photography until we are blue in the face! We will discuss photographs that you have taken and other members of the club have taken. We will of course take images and improve on images using a range of software packages such as Photoshop, Auto FX, and Microsoft Photo Editor . You will discover how to take better photographs and use your photographic tools to prepare a superior photograph. You will be introduced to similar minded people who have an inquisitive eye for detail and a love for photography.

There is a trivial fee for joining the club but competitions will be free for anyone to enter.

We commonly have competitions all the way through the year as seasons change and events happen during the calendar year. We have a photographic exhibition each year to showcase our work.

By joining a club it should immeasurably increase your photography skills where you should be able to make a good livelihood from your hobby if this is what you would like to do in the future. Also the Wareham photography club will have it's own website with links to your website which can help your web traffic no end as well as maybe get you new clients if you have any products or services to offer.

It isn't essential if you don't have your own camera when you join - but it is expected - we can give you advice on choosing a camera, although you cannot go far wrong with this list of the top 10 digital cameras, in no particular order:
